〇 I heard that one of your hobbies is playing darts. Could you tell me what you enjoy most about it and what inspired you to start playing?
I started playing darts when I was in university. Karaoke, darts, and billiards were my favorite pastimes as a student, so I often visited these places after or between lectures. Playing online matches against other players kept me so immersed in the game that I lost track of time, even when playing solo. I bought my own darts and received advice from the staff at the store, and I even got some tips from the older gentleman at a nearby dartboard (laughs). It’s a hobby that you can enjoy casually, and it was also a great way to communicate with others.
〇 As a fluent English speaker who grew up overseas, were there any specific aspects you focused on during the voice recording?
When you play DARTSLIVE, you can hear a variety of exciting native system voices. When I aspired to be a voice actor, I often thought, “I want to perform this voice!” For this recording, I focused on delivering the lines in the most stylish way possible. The feeling of hitting a perfect dart is incredibly satisfying, and the voice needs to enhance that experience. I was thrilled to have the opportunity to record these voices, especially since I could use my English skills to bring them to life!
〇 Finally, do you have a message for darts fans?
Darts is so much fun. It’s exciting, it feels great, and it’s perfect entertainment that gets everyone hyped up, no matter who you are playing with. I’m truly grateful to be able to contribute to the experience through my voice, especially because I have fallen in love with the game myself. I hope my voice can help enhance the excitement for everyone playing on DARTSLIVE. Keep aiming for that bullseye and throw your darts with all your might!
