Park’s secret strength comes from his prayers.
During the match, Pak would pray to the heavens with eyes closed as many look on. This routine revealed Pak’s hidden true strength.
“I would get so excited and nervous whenever it was my turn, which would increase the chances of me missing during a critical moment. To prevent this from happening, I would use every second available to me to pray to throw my best, which would calm me down and increase my concentration.”
It is because Pak knows his own weak points and faces them head on that he can be considered one of the Top Players in the world.
“When going to many different tournaments around the world, I see the top players practice their true skill. For me to control my emotions and calmly show my true skill, that routine has become indispensable.”
Brimming with the will to win.
“Even more so than when I started playing darts, more and more great athletes have begun playing. They want to rush down this path comfortably, whereas I wish to clear a path to the top.”
Feeling the pressure as the representative of Korea, Pak speaks.
“I do feel the pressure of being the only Korean player at such a large tournament as SUPER DARTS. But, to be able to play with so many veteran players from around the world is just exciting. Rather than pressure, I’m filled with the want to win.”
Pak will be like a whirlwind in this great tournament of revered players. And lastly he would like to line his words of thanks to his fans.
