Adrian Gray is known in the UK as the player who upset Phil Taylor, the strongest steel tip darts player in the world.
It was the second biggest victory in Gray's life.
He said "I defeated Phil Taylor when I made it to the PDC World Grand Prix quarter final.
Although I have made it to the semifinal in the PDC tournament several times, that match was particularly tough. So I was very happy at that time."

Awakening victory in Macau
The victory in THE WORLD 2014 Macau is bigger for him.
At the interview right after the winning,Gray responded “It was the special title in my career. In darts, you can’t always get the result you want. The result is determined by the condition and luck of that day."

He saw that PDC’s Mark Webster and Colin Lloyd were playing at SUPER DARTS in 2013.
