Yuji Eguchi who is also known as “Egucho” is back to SUPER DARTS.
He is the first winner with the highest participation. “Mr. SUPER DARTS” sounds perfect for Eguchi.

Show the strength of the Japanese on the Japanese stage
Looking back his past victory, he says “Some may remember me as the first champion.
The wining on the stage gives me a joy that can’t be replaced by anything.
As this stage will be in Japan, I really want one of the Japanese players to win. It may not be me, though.
Again it will be hosted in Japan, and the matches will be home games and many people will support Japanese players.
We, the Japanese players have to show the strength of the Japanese.
I will do my best so that I can impress the overseas players and make them say “Japanese are great and strong.”
To a question “After winning at SUPER DARTS, do you become popular among girls?”
“This won’t be included, will it? Yes. They come and talk to me.” Eguchi responded with a shy smile.

It would be great if I can lift the crowd and win.
Tickets became sold out right after their release.
As SUPER DARTS started under the concept “Darts for spectators”, it is very entertaining.
The audience is the critical aspect of the event.
“It is amazing to win in any tournament as only one can be the champion.
If possible, I want to lift the crowd with my darts to share the moment with them.
Then, they will root for me in return. That would be very nice if I can do that with great results.
I am always thinking about the crowd. When I am watching, I am drawn to good performances and players with characters.
So I would like to learn from them and their performances. Anyway, I want to win.”
